The Colombian prosecutor's office has closed down a museum dedicated to drug kingpin Pablo Escobar, closing down the property once owned by Escobar. Since Escobar's death in 1993, his brother, Roberto de Jesus Escobar Gaviria, has used the property as a museum to display memories of the Medellin cartel, which was responsible for thousands of deaths during its time. The government has seized the property, which is now being used as a home museum.

A museum dedicated to a drug kingpin has been closed down. The prosecutor’s office in Colombia has seized a property that was owned by Pablo Escobar.
