Maluma surprised fans on Thursday by announcing that he is expecting his first child with girlfriend Susana Gomez.
The Colombian singer, 29, shared the big news in the new music video for his song Procura — which features footage of the couple’s pregnancy journey.
He gave fans their first glimpse of Susan’s, 29, baby and confirmed they are having a girl.
The couple hinted that they had already chosen their daughter’s name as they were both pictured wearing ‘Paris’ diamond necklaces.
The music video also includes clips of the couple seeing their unborn child for the first time via sonogram.
Maluma watched in complete awe as he put his hands over his mouth and fixed his eyes on the sonogram screen.
Fans got a close-up look at the unborn baby before watching Susana and Maluma look at sonogram photos.
The next scene shows their emotional family and friends learning the exciting news.
In a quick montage, Maluma is seen kissing Suzanne’s bare stomach and throwing an elaborate gender reveal party at his villa in Colombia.
They found out they were having a girl after the smoke machines exploded with pink along with coordinating flashing lights.
Three days before the pregnancy announcement, Maluma shared a sweet post on Instagram that included photos of himself with Suzanne.
In the caption he wrote that he is “crazy for her”.
Maluma started dating Suzanne in August 2020 — three years after meeting her on the set of his song Felices Los 4.
He made his love Instagram official almost exactly a year later by sharing a photo of Suzanne on his account.
There were rumors earlier this year that Maluma had proposed to her, but he seemingly shut them down with a TikTok post in September.
Using his own lyrics, he told fans they were “misinformed.”
They have yet to make their red carpet debut, but she accompanied him to the 2022 Billboard Latin Music Awards.
As of this year, the couple sat front row together at a fashion show during Paris Fashion Week in June.
They also caught the Huge Boss show in Miami, Florida in March.
The couple is very private when it comes to the details of their relationship.
Susana is also Colombian and works as an interior designer / architect.
The brunette beauty has launched her own design firm, ESE + ese, located in Medellin, Colombia.
