The candidate for Mayor of Medellín, Federico Gutiérrez, spoke with Publimetro Colombia and revealed the two reasons why he would not become the leader of the people of Medellin again, when the polls place him in first place and the polls in the streets they confirm it.
During the interview, the candidate was forceful when he assured that there are only two reasons why he considers he could not become the mayor of Medellín for the period 2024-2027, which will be defined on October 29.

The only two reasons why Fico would not be mayor of Medellín
In the middle of the conversation he made reference to the relationship he would have with the National Government if he were elected and made reference to the Total Peace policy.
“The National Government uses Total Peace as a political instrument in elections, there are rumors of how they take people to the Itagüí prison to negotiate false testimonies against us, to affect our name and alter the elections. That is not well done. I would rather tell President Petro to reflect, to reconsider, that the country is not on the right path, that we are going to reach, God willing, the Mayor of Medellín,” said Gutiérrez.

Then he referred to the two reasons why he would not be mayor of Medellín: “what the polls show today is that there are two possibilities for us not to win and that is: that the elections are stolen or that they kill us. Once we get to the Mayor’s Office we are going to work so that the country and Medellín do well. Knowing that the country is going badly, what we want is for us to also start that change from Medellín.”
