LONGi has exhibited for the first time at Expo Solar in the Colombian city of Medellin, the country’s highest profile industry event, showcasing its latest range of solutions including the 54 and 72 cell versions of its Hi-MO X6 ‘Explorer’ series. The plant was a joint venture between Solis and Allurack, an inverter brand Solis, and racking system provider Allurak.

The Hi-MO X6 series stands out for its innovative high efficiency HPBC cell technology, and both modules attracted significant attention from visitors to the event.

Among other highlights at the show was a PV plant installed within the grounds of the Plaza Mayor Medellin venue by Solaire, LONGi’s exclusive distributor in Colombia. The plant deployed 50 72 cell Hi-MO 6 HTH modules with a power output of 580W, corresponding to an installed capacity of 29 kWp, and was a joint venture involving the inverter brand Solis and racking system provider Allurack.
