Maluma surprised fans on Thursday when he announced he was expecting his first child with girlfriend Susana Gomez.
The 29-year-old Colombian singer shared the big news in the new music video for his song Procura, which features footage from the couple’s pregnancy journey.
He gave fans a first glimpse of Susana, 29,’s baby bump and confirmed they were having a baby girl.
The couple hinted that they had already chosen their daughter’s name as they were both filmed wearing ‘Paris’ diamond necklaces.
The music video also includes clips of the couple getting a first glimpse of their unborn child via an ultrasound.
Maluma looked completely impressed as he placed his hands over his mouth and fixed his eyes on the ultrasound screen.
Fans got a close-up look at the unborn baby before watching Susana and Maluma gape at the ultrasound photos.
The next scene shows their emotional family and friends hearing the exciting news.
In a quick montage, Maluma is seen kissing Susana’s bare stomach and hosting an elaborate gender reveal party at his mansion in Colombia.
They found out they were having a girl after pink-colored smoke machines and coordinated flashing lights exploded.
Three days before the pregnancy announcement, Maluma shared a cute post on Instagram that included photos of him with Susana.
He wrote in the caption that he was “crazy” about her.
Maluma started dating Susana in August 2020 – three years after meeting her on the set of his song Felices Los 4.
He made the romance Instagram official almost exactly a year later by sharing a photo of Susana on his account.
There were rumors earlier this year that Maluma proposed to her, but he seemingly shut them down with a TikTok post in September.
Using his own words, he told fans they were “misinformed.”
They haven’t made their red carpet debut yet, but she accompanied him to the 2022 Billboard Latin Music Awards.
Starting this year, the couple sat together in the front row at a fashion show during Paris Fashion Week in June.
They also attended a Huge Boss show in Miami, Florida in March.

Susana is also Colombian and works as an interior designer/architect.
