Turns out, she's actually interior decorator and jewelry designer Susana Gómez, whom the singer has reportedly been seeing since at least 2020 when the two were first spotted holding hands. So, yeah, that's the bad news. But the good news is after copious amounts of research, it's clear that these two are a match made in heaven.

The love birds both helm from Medellín in Colombia. In the past, the singer has opened up about how much pride he takes in being from the country, even dishing to People back in April 2021 that "when people talk about Colombia, they don't talk about Pablo Escobar anymore or drugs or violence. When they come to Latin America, they feel like we have an amazing culture. They say that we're good people, that we are people who love helping. It makes me feel pretty proud."

Susana, for her part, uses her jewelry brand as a means to spotlight the country by using natural resources straight from Colombia along with imagery and inspiration that's familiar to her."[We create] handcrafted pieces made in Medellin, Colombia using precious stones such as diamonds, Colombian emeralds, rubies, or other kinds of semiprecious stones," says one of the captions on the Sileo Timeless Jewelry Insta account.

As in, not only has Susana made multiple (!!) appearances on Maluma's mom Marlli Arias's Instagram, but she's been shown tons of support by her, including at the launch event for Sileo Timeless Jewelry in February 2023. Plus, in response to the pic, Susana showed tons of love back by leaving the comment, "Mar ❤️❤️❤️."

Maluma quite literally broke the internet in December 2021 after he posted a blurry pic of himself kissing someone—who has since been assumed to be Susana—in front of a Christmas tree alongside the caption, "Gracias, Santa." Susana has inspired *at least* one of Maluma's tracks

Specifically, his single "Junio," which Maluma released in September 2022. I mean, with lyrics like, "You give me heat as if it was summer in June/How cool would it be if you were my girlfriend…With you, I don't need the ocean/You are my sun," how could we not assume the singer is speaking about being head-over-heels with his girlfriend?

Maluma also revealed to Rolling Stone last August that he was more focused on making music that comes from a special and intimate place. "I feel like I’m coming back to my roots," he said at the time, adding, "When I went out from Medellín with my music around the world, I felt like I was losing a little bit of myself. Then I was doing some songs that, okay, maybe they were hits, but I didn’t feel like that was my essence."

Basically, in January 2023 Maluma playfully made a faux proposal at his birthday celebration after he feigned placing a ring on his cake (which he got from *the* Marc Anthony, btw), winked and looked over at Susana, and then gave the ring back while playfully laughing.
